How can Remove thses things I circled?





I really want to remove those two Compaq things

There is a tool (I think it's on Snapfiles) that you can use to delete the branding in the System Properties box. For the program, do you want to totally delete it, or just get rid of it from the Start Menu?

Well I didn't even had to use that tool. The oeminf.ini was in WIndows\System32 and that took care of the manufactured by Compaq.

Then I went to the registry and Deleted some entries and that took care of the Presario Info Center.

All for nothing though because once I replaced the motherboard with the new one I had to reinstall windows xp with another disk.

Yeah, reinstalling anew copy of XP will get rid of all manufacturor data.

Tried it Stratobat, it dosen't seem to work mate  :(

I wonder if its an issue with Service Pack 2 ? Should I have read the "READ ME"  ;)
