Office alternative or not????

Postby Jimbo » Tue Apr 19, 2005 11:56 am

Hi,

Im at secondary school at the moment, and with many students i am totally dependant on Microsoft office to do my work and publish it. I need office at home and i have searched many sites to see what price it is. It costs too much even for the student edition. There must be a GOOD alternative for me to use.
PLEASE list any suggestions and maybe your personal uses with this product.
Look foward from hearing from you.
:D

I'm all for open source, but openoffice sucks.

Just try getting an older edition of office. I'm sure you don't need the XML abilities of 2003.

Open Office rocks, since it's at least as good as MS Office, but totally free!
