Why is Windows doing this?

Can someone please help me?

Everytime I log onto Windows, it always brings up what is just about the most important folder on a PC, system32. This started happening about a month ago. How can I stop it doing so?

Cheers,

Rob. :)

Why is Windows doing this?

Because its windows ;)

Try going to Start -> Programs ->Startup and see if theres a short cut to the system32 folder there, if there is, delete it...

and if there isn't...go to Start-> Run -> and then type in 'msconfig'. then look under start up...uncheck the box if its there...

...other than that...no idea :-[
