What about consulting forums on Doom 3 pages first instead of asking flight sim nutters who don't have a clue about other games?

3 time demos are included with doom3.
they are called
timedemo1
timedemo2
timedemo3
simply play them with the appropriate console commands.
You can of course, make your own custom timedemos. And yeah, you might want to ask on another site like planetdoom.com

It's pretty simple. Just start the game and bring up the command screen ( Ctrl + Alt + ~) and type "timedemo demo1". Some of us flight sim nutter are diehard w/ the first person shooters too

Time demo's are an interesting benchmark of the game,For quicker access to the console open your Doom 3 shortcut properties and add:
+set com_allowConsole 1, e.g. "C:\Doom 3\doom3.exe" + set com_allowConsole 1.
This allows you to access the console by pressing the Tilde

Hey I got my console! I've seen it all over the internet as being tilde ~, but it never worked. I was trying every key on the board, (Only 104!) and I found it! On mine its Ctrl + Alt + `. Thats the key just below Esc, beside 1 and above Tab. I don't know why, It IS though!
