That's why I don't use the automated updater for Win XP. Oh, and I don't use Windows updates anyways.

Just right click my computer and click properties and turn MS updates off.

I've never had a problem with MS update and it never bothers me when i click do it later.

Personally, I like this feature, not for me cause I goto windows updates site all the time, but for all those computer noobs who complain about security problems and run windows xp SP0 or soemthing and then complain.
