I just finished HL2, and all I can say is WOW.  HL2 was a work of art.  There were so many neat things in the game to do and see.  I was really p.o.'d about the game taking so long to come out, but the guys at Valve have reclaimed my respect.  If you haven't playe this yet, but like first person shooters, then this is a MUST have.  I've also beat Doom 3, and there is no comparison.

I will give it a go when it hits the $20 or less bin
Just noticed Far Cry is now $20 so will probably get it this weekend to see what the fuss was about.

Far Cry is also a great game.  It started out as a way to show off video card capabilities, so you know it's eye candy.  Also has a good story.

yeah, far cry is brilliant, im gonna have to play it again i think....

Graphics in Far Cry is great...but I don't like the story line, its like a cross between James Bond and Doom....

Half Life 2 is a definate must! Even thought the graphics are last year, the physics make up for that...garry's mod is also a must...

BTW...I challange you, Hawkeye, to the 'Field of Honor' In CS:S...LOL..! (once i get some free time again)

Yes, it is very awesome.

Far Cry. Hmm. I never finished that game. Played for about 3 hours and then never played again, sucky game, great engine. I now just play around with the engine (modding) rather than play the game (which sucks).
