its such a good game!

but which has better graphics.

DOOM 3 OR HALF LIFE 2?

Doom III is nothing but a graphics demo with Zombies.

i have half life 2 aswell and i think its better,
but i also like doom 3, because its unusual.

HL2 has much better graphics and gameplay, but DOOM is still cool.

HL2 has a better engine overall and is a much better game overall.

Doom3 is only good for its engine and practicaly nothing else except maybe modding. Doom 3's engine comes very close to HL2, but falls just short of being better. Its major asset is its shadowing and lighting system.

Given a choice, get HL2 first and foremost...and then if you have akickass machine and moeny left over, get doom 3 next.

A kickass-machine isn't even necessary. I played it on my old 2100+ and my 9700pro in 1024 with medium details and 2*AA. Looked quite good.
