Wasn't really sure where to put this, eventually decided here.

For all the combat flight sim games I fly, I just recently realized that I actually have no idea what "Angel 0", etc. means.

Any help?

Many use the term, "Angels Six" for example, to denote that they are at an altitude of 6,000 ft.

Others may use it for something else, but to my knowlege this is the common usage.
