Wings of Power

Postby Gary R. » Sun Nov 21, 2004 3:56 pm

Any of you guys into heavy duty warbirds or just love vintage planes need to get Wings of Power.  I just got it for my birthday thanks to my wife and it is in the same league with MAAM Sims Briefing time.  Nearly as real as it gets.  The planes require studying the numbers and that you abide by them and they are a real challenge to master especially with a full loadout. I recommend learning them with 25% fuel and gradually increasing weight as you get used to the handling. Wartime heavy bombers do not handle like a comtemporary airliner and they have that represented very well.  So, I highly recommend it as the best 2004 compatible warbird add-on yet. Give it a whirl. $29.99 USD is very good value for the flying challenge and history the package represents.

Yup a fantastic piece of kit. Worth it just for the sound of the Lancaster.
