I would like to download some files from
this excellent site,but I do not have Winzip
could anyone tell me where I can get it.

Holy Cr#p! They want $29 for that! What a hose job.
If you have WinXP, winzip is built in. If not, Google for winzip alternatives. There are thousands of free ones.

The free evaluation WinZip had an unlimited trial period until quite recently. It worked fine if you ignored the reminders to register it. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. I can't say I blame them & all good things come to an end. As Webb says, there are plenty of alternatives. I've tried several but still prefer WinZip.

Heres where to get the FREE older version of winzip for those like me who prefer it.
oldversion.comLoads of other old versions of stuff on there too.

the older version was much better, pick it up from a misc site then you should still get the unlimited trial like hagar pointed out, just ignore the reminders.
