If anyone hasn't heard of this, HijackThis is a tool for getting rid of spyware. It really is one of the best programs I've ever come across to remove those annoying popups from software. It was mentioned a while back by Ivan in Pippin's post about indentifying spyware, but I don't think anyone really noticed it
Get it here and go here for a great tutorial. Adaware and Spybot are frankly useless compared with this if you know how to use it
It keeps automatic backups too!
