I need some help learning how to shrink the file size of my screenshots.  I am using GrabClipSave and can't seem to figure out how to get the file size below 100K.

Thanks.

You will have to shrink the image in a paint package of some description. What art packages do you have?

Paint shop pro trial addition works very well, you can resize the image with no image quality loss, and then save it as a .jpg it will be about 52kb, this is at 800x600 after resize, which is the size used on this forum.  When the trial period runs out just open up your system clock and change it back a little so that it is useable again, of course change the clock back again afterwards.

If all you're going to use it for is resizing, I'd recommend Irfanview.  (www.irfanview.com)

It's a very nifty freeware image program, but it lacks things that PSP or Photoshop will give you as far as painting, etc.

But for resizing it's great, because you can convert to just about any file type you want, and you get almost no loss of quality.
