I am wondering how I can transfer files from one computer to another WITHOUT the discs VIA internet

I am trying to send CFS2 from one of my computers to my new one, I borrowed the CD from a friend a while back, and now I want it on my new comp...

Where would I put all the files (other then "combat simulator 2" under "microsoft games")

I have tried JUST doing it that way, but I cant seem to get it to work on the MSN gaming zone

Any tips would be helpfull,
but I would love to know where the files come from and go to

Thanks!!

P.S.  I know this don't belong here, but in the software forum, I havn't been getting ANY relpies

I might me wrong with this and I know I will be corrected if I am wrong. I dont think you can just transfer your CFS folder to another computer and expect it to work. I think when you install it from a disk the game puts things in the system registery

There is a way. If your running Windows ME, 2000, or XP, there is a special program called "Remote Desktop Connection".

Go to the Start Menu, Programs, Accessories, Communications, click Remote Desktop Connection. Be sure to have the IP address for your other computer ready and make sure the other is booted up. Now enter your user name and password and you should see the other computer's desktop. Now you can work away remotely, transfer files, etc. This program can be used to access and computer running Windows 95 and up.

Of course Loomex is correct. It installs system registeries that allow it to run on your computer. You'll probably need the disk.
