Messenger isn't Working !!!

Hello guys,
My Internet is fine but my Messenger isn't working on my user account,but my other user accounts support Messenger fine.Can anyone please tell me what the problem is ? Thanks.

Sorry, I can't help you but I will be watching this thread with interest, because my messenger sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, and there seems to be no pattern as to when it decides to function properly.
When I log on it either works or not.

Check MS for a current Messenger update.
Messinger does sign out if not used during a session.

Messinger does sign out if not used during a session.
I had this similare problem but then I discovered that I still had both installed. I uninstalled both and then reinstalled Version 6 and it works fine now.
