WINxp Setup

I'm activating my second computer, A Dell Optiplex. It had WIN98 at one time but I wish to install WINxp. I already fdisked the drive and also formatted it. What do I need and what do I do to successfully load the WINxp. I have the WINxp CD but do I need a WINxp Start-Up disk also? Much obli8ged for any help.

Dell, so you need F-12 to select the CD as boot drive the first time you start
