Good day to all. A simple question about C++. I noticed in the control panel area where it shows all the programs I have installed that I have @ 20 Microsoft Visuals C++ some 64 some 86 going all the way back to 2005. D o I need all of them or can I just use the latest one I have which is 2015? What is C++ anyway. Thanks, Dave

Hello, you have many Visual C++ because there are different versions.
A program will install Visual C++ version that it needs when you install a program that uses it.
On my 'puter I just leave them alone. I don't know of any way to tell if I still use the programs that installed them so I leave well enough alone.
