Goodly morning all:

Windows 10 and Microsoft FSX Deluxe/Acceleration

ORBX I have:
ORBX FTX 1.0 USA CANADA
-Pacific Fjords
-Pacific Northwest

Looking to Purchase (when comes on sale)
ORBX
-NA Northern Rockies
-NA Central Rockies
-NA Southern Alaska

Now do I need to Purchase Tongass Fjords X to Cover this area or is it included in one of the above ORBX Products

Am also wondering if Misty Moorings Scenery is included in any of the above and I do not know if it can be purchased for FSX...I see there is a FS2004 Purchase available at the above location and not sure how well that would work with my ORBX FSX Scenery.

Tongass Fjords X



I have all the Orbx scenery that covers this area. Checking the airports on the map above, I find only one airport that has "nice" airport scenery. The rest has minimal, if any, buildings.

After checking out this old (2010) video, I think that the Tongass Fjords X scenery would be well worth the money.

Misty Moorings Scenery

I'm assuming that you mean scenery from Return to Misty Moorings.
That does cover some of the same "Tongass Fjords X" area, but it looks to be an addition to Tongass Fjords X.

As far as I can tell, the sceneries from the Return to Misty Moorings are free, although the Orbx sceneries (that you already have) are required.


Warnings
It appears that there may be some installation problems - from Holger Sandmann - Tongass Fjords X custom terrain.cfg entries. This is from February 20, 2015, and may no longer be applicable.

Prepar3d
There ARE problems installing Tongass Fjords X if you are using Prepar3d.

It looks like the Estonia Migration Tool is the best way to install it.

If you don't want to buy the Migration Tool, then there are step by step instructions on how to do it - How Do I Install Tongass Fjords X For Prepar3D V3.

BTW - I've used the Estonia Migration Tool for years. And if an old FSX scenery, or plane, will work at all, it can be safely installed with the Migration Tool.
