I originally read the book and when the sim came out from Spectrum Holobyte I bought it. It was a great sim and I spent hours planning and executing missions. The Intruder was a great plane to fly and I could actually land it on the carrier most of the time. The F-4 Phantom model was much trickier to land on the carrier and I usually crashed.
Anyway, I've always wondered why no one purchased the rights and upgraded the sim to modern standards. I would surely buy it. I see that RAZBAM has a payware A-6E with missions where you can actually drop bombs but it didn't mention any air opposition. I remember in flight of the Intruder you could have zuni rockets as part of your loadout and I actually shot down some migs using a volley of zunis.
So has anyone bought this package from RAZBAM and is it worth it?
