I do a regular scan with freeware "Malwarebytes", and today's "quick scan" (apparently sufficient) took 3 minutes 35 seconds....

..all clear!

Also I do a regular scan with freeware "Spybot Search and Destroy", which takes longer, and often finds one or two annoying little bits and bobs which I then delete!

My freeware "AVG Antivirus" seems to automatically take care of any nasty viruses which come my way!
(...but I've still got a nasty cough!).

Cor blimey, Kurt!.... ...!

The new version, custom scan, is taking ages to scan through all the zillions of files which I already know don't have any dodgy Malware "stuff" in them

...and still nothing found...its consuming too much if my life!

I think I will stick to my regular; "Quick scan"

....its "quicker"!.... ...!

Paul.... ...!

Very regular "quick scans" seems to be the answer... :D ...!

The bloody program is still scanning...and its already Tea Time!..... ...!

Ok, honest, as i'm brought up to be, i went back to version 1.65!! A lot out there are doing the same.
The new version 2 needs payment to do a quick search and to do a right click search on downloads with mb :naughty:
Sorry for any inconvenience this thread might have given you

I have mostly found that "Newer" is not always "Better"....

....especially when it comes to Graphics Cards drivers!

Mine have mostly been the drivers on the original CD that was supplied with the Card!

Most of my "Windows Players" have always been the old versions.

Old versions are mostly nicer.... :D ..!

Paul...a very old version... ...!
