Some of you might have seen, that i had problems getting a security copy, or making a restore, of my C: drive.

You possible also know, that a Windows install, pr. default, makes a reserved partion to system at 100mb.

After a lot of work, searching all over, getting M$ in on the subject too, i found out that those default 100mb is not enough when your drive is growing bigger.

I found this little neat program
http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-par ... nager.html
and rezised the reserved partition to 400mb.

Now i'm able to make a security backup to my D: drive! That were my main target, i wont miss it for anything.
Tho, i still have some probs with restoring, and have had that for a couple of months. I dont use this option, but i sure like things to work normal, so when i got time, i'll search again.

For now, i don't need to spend days/weeks to reinstall everything :D

If i find a restore solution i'll report back.

Thakns, Kurt.

Just what I needed. I'm replacing the drive on an old laptop with Windows XP. That'll come in handy in setting up the new drive.
