Patties* little 80 gig desktop finally Facebooked itself into oblivion and of course we had to choose a new pc with windows 8. On the way back from the store I kept driving the point home to her that I don't know jack about Win8. I hooked it all up for her and fired it up.. You know what? I kind of like it, I didn't puke a little bit in my mouth like I thought I would, being a staunch XP user. I did spend a bit of time figuring out where to turn the damn thing off though. But, I came across this and that eliminates some of the hassle of shutdown.
