CTRL-ALT-DELETE in win8

Postby nichos » Wed Oct 16, 2013 11:17 am

Hi,

CTRL-ALT-DELETE in XP ( as MS GATES called a mistake) was an invaluable tool for me, is there anything compatible to it in win8?

It was so readily available tool for deleting abstinent programs or windows that would not delete normally.

If anybody knows I'll be grateful to hear about it.

Yep, Control+Alt+Delete is still functioning in Windows 8... Just checked as I typed this.

I believe you are trying to access Task Manager based on what you described... FYI in Windows 8, you can access Task Manager directly by pressing "Control"+"Shift"+"Escape" (Esc) (Also works in Windows 7 if I remember correctly)
