The more we go on, the more software companies seem to be pandering to the clueless ... and for obvious reasons. (most people are coding/software disinterested)
But for those of us that like to be in control of our digital lives, the likes of W10 (& apple iphones) have less appeal - at least they do for me.
I have given it a try on 2 of my PC's - one changed from W8 (not too much different) and my main PC from W7 (a lot different)
There are a lot of things that have become a pain now - like quick accessing of various programs from the side menu (I will have maybe 20 or 30 there which were easy to access in W7 - now I have to click 'all apps' and scroll - a pain). I also find that moving folders or notepad windows around requires me to click 2x on the folder before it seems to believe I would want to move it)
So I think I'll revert to W7 on my main PC and maybe keep it on laptop - just to give myself the knowledge of it.
I can't actually see any benefit or improvement for someone like me, on W10 to be honest. It probably appeals to those who like everything to be done for them by the device rather than be incontrol of their device - the 'iphone brigade'.
