...of those annoying things which suddenly pops up on your/my Mozilla Firefox Browser... >:(...!

Certain text on my Browser is now; "highlighted", to encourage me to click on it, for further details...!
I haven't requested the option, and trying to exclude it in my Browser Tools Menu fails to get rid of it!

It appears to be associated with: "easy line".

As soon as I open, or refresh a page, after a few seconds the contents are then automatically; "scanned", to highlight certain text or words.

Any ideas, Chums..how to bury it, permanently?... ::)...!

Paul....The collector of Annoying Browser Things!... :'(... ;D...!

Does it happen on certain websites or just at random? Never used FF, so I don't know how their adblocker works exactly.

I've had a peek around my Firefox Browser which uses the; "Ad Block Pro", Advert Blocker, in the Browser Add-On bar.

An entry; "Easy Line" appears in the list of Ad-Block addresses as a "script", which seems to require manually blocking, for it to take effect.

It seems that this; "Easy Line" program had installed itself to my Browser, without any warning!
..a little program that has crept in via the Back Door?

All seems clear...so far..!

You seem to be having more than your fair share of problems with malware recently Paul. :P

Its quite surprising how many of  my regular Malware, Spyware, Ant-virus programs, when I run them, fail to pick up various nasties that often give me problems!

At the moment I am still infected with the accursed; "bProtect.exe" which constantly interferes with the running of my Programs...and is not detected by any protection programs!
That can only be removed by a complete HDD Format!

What's your antivirus program?
You should scan with malewarebytes and use MSE (microsoft security essentials)

I regularly scan my computer many times a day, with free-ware Avira, MS anti-virus, Spybot, etc, etc...(including Malwarebytes), but none of them detect the really annoying/dangerous stuff which crops up, now and again, and buries itself deep in the Registry!!

Maybe for that, you/we have to purchase the Retail stuff!

If i were you, i would certently first try this.

Run Malwarebytes in secure mode.

Dl other free av programs and try them, such as avg, awast or Panda cloud (this last one takes some time). But be aware, if you got more than one av running, you could get some bad conflicts! I know you know that.

Your Avira program is low on tests over here!

I use MSE and got ASC running for mallware.

Good luck to you. ;)

I used to have an old laptop with norton on it, slightly off topic, but that thing had so many bugs in it I was almost ready to strap it to the desk so it wouldn't get up and walk away one night.  ;D
I won't bother mentioning Vipre as I have in the past and I won't talk about how much better life has been since I purchased it 3 and a half years ago. None of these programs are perfect but Avira, Avg and etc, have all failed me in the past.  ::)
