Has anyone given it a try yet?

It has won lots of awards recently!

I've given it a quick try. I just need to memorise the commands... ;)...!

i play it.
i only have the habit  of making stuff everywhere. XD
i have 2 houses near my spawn with a trainrail leading to it.(and a old dirt/glass and wood hut with most stuff taken from it by me) and a luxury mansion with a underground boat-house,a ENORMOUS mine(i have travelled more underground then above i think ;D ), a epic failure disco a watchtower,an artificial bay with a wood house in it+secret cave at the entrance.
i have a semi-underground house(uncomplete) and about 3 mob traps.

A while back me and a friend had a Minecraft marathon and played it constantly over a period of two days. By the end we had built a massive castle made from smoothstone spanning from the very bottom of the map (as deep as you could possibly go) to the very very top of the map (as high as you can possibly go).

It's also good playing online seeing what creations people have made...

btw i remember a few stories.
i was new to minecraft.
i lost about 3 worlds due to crashes.
i made a small luxury castle(actualy 2 but i connected them with a bridge)
i didn't know about creepers back then and there where about 3 of them hopping around the door.
i thought they where zombies(again)so i opened the door to kill them.
of course they exploded and i was like;WTF JUST HAPPENED?
when i came home i noticed the front part was missing.
i had to rebuild it and in the end i kept having to exit by jumping from the tower and entering by building a colume.
i lost that world.

now this is in one of my current worlds.

i was in my mob trap (massive 21x21 3 floor trap without any spawn becasue i was too close)and it became night.
in the morning i wanted to go outside.
of course a creeper was above me.

and on the same world i was coming out of my house and i was looking around to check if nothing was following me,i thought there wasn't.
then i heard a hiss,i turned around and saw a creeper.
i killed him.

I HATE CREEPERS!!!
well they are usefull for mining since they give gunpowder and i am now a pro killer. ::) ;D
no seriously,in my first 4 days of a new world i already had 2 TNT and 3 gunpowder. :D

btw anyone watch the yogscast?

i just got lucky.
i was digging around,i found a small cave.
i mined some iron,i reached an ENORMOUS cave.
now i gave it the nickname:rich mans cave because there where 8 diamonds, about a stack of iron and 16 gold in the part i explored alone. :o
