For example, on Vista and earlier it gives me MSN Messenger and then my individual conversations separate to one another. On 7 it gives you the single MSN Messenger icon. You click on that and then you get the individual conversations coming off that.

I've used a laptop running Windows 7 so I tried to see what options I could change, but none seemed to change the GUI to that of Vista.
I really can't stand that interface where I can't see everything that is currently open. When light shines on the screen it can become pretty difficult to see if someone on messenger is talking and I like to see everything I have open.
Has anyone with 7 found a way to get the settings right so that it can look like Vista once again? If and when I get a laptop for university, I'm pretty much stuck with using 7 as they'll have mostly discontinued Vista on the majority of laptops out there.
Please no Vista bashers... Win 7 is based off Vista and I am yet to find an actual bash which is true. I'm perfectly capable of using Vista as it's very easy to use.
