Windows 7 Version Selection

I'm looking at upgrading to Windows 7 soon (hopefully) and I'm trying to decide which version to get.

Home Premium should be enough although I went with Ultimate because of the Windows XP mode, and also Bitlocker.

I'll be getting the ultimate edition, mostly because I need the German language pack...

...but the bitlocker program, I have it right now for Vista Ultimate, and its the most unused thing on this computer...

...unless you're committing computer felonies or running classified documents* you shouldn't have a use for it.

*It is ill-advised to entrust national secrets to any program written by Microsoft.
