Would be interested on NickN's input before I give this a go. After all Google are well known for "date gathering". I would be rather worried what they are collecting from a dedicated Google web browser :-? :-/

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

i'm using it right now... there's a couple of things i like about it... and a couple others i don't...

for instance, it loads up incredibly fast... pretty much comes up as you release the mouse button off the icon...

BUT, it's so new that there are very few plugins for it yet... and some pages look a bit weird, like the new post page i'm looking at right now... for some reason the text dialog is off-center... but they say they're working on getting all pages right

i do like the features though... there's a whole developer tool to get not only the source code from the page, but all it's measurements, javascript functions and properties and whatnot... the incognito window is cool too... sometimes you just don't want to leave a trace on your browser

my guess is that on a few months, Chrome will be probably the best browser out there... that's if there's enough people using it so plugins will start appearing... but it does have potential... i liked their approach when designing it, i think they got it just right

my rating would be a 4/5, simply because it's not too matured yet... but that's to be expected from a beta...

EDIT: just found out that java apps work just fine on Chrome... it's getting better and better for me

Cheers
