.ogm sound?

Postby Kaworu » Fri Apr 11, 2008 3:41 pm

Hey guys...I'm back!  ;D

I can't get any sound to be produced from any videos i have in the .ogm format. They use the DIVX and AV3 codecs.

I have tried multiple players and yes, the volume is turned up!  ;)

Thanks!

Try this. Might work might not, but it's worth a shot.

First copy the original to a safe place, so you have the original, and a new to one test with.

Get yourself to folder options, through the path of your choice, click on the "VIEW" tab, and un-tick "hide extesions for known file types". Click apply.

Now, right-click on the .ogm file (the one you don't mind screwing up), and rename it, changing the file extension from .ogm to .avi. (i.e., "test.ogm" to "test.avi") and save it.

Hey thanks guys. Everything seems to be working now. I downloaded the new filters and experimented with groundbound's suggestion. Not sure what made it work though.  ;)
