and its a great game well worth getting, i have never had more fun at a lan than nuking some one 11 times! well it was in retaliation to somewhere in the region of 300 units heading my way

I downloaded the demo. Not even a twitch in full combat with max res! Freakin awesome game, gonna buy it today. My dad likes it too so we are gonna split the cost of it seeing as I am nearly broke from the 8800GT

Brilliant game, much better than C&C "arcade" tripe. I haven't played SC/FA with the 8800GT, but I have a similar base system and it slowed down a fair bit (FA) Should be ok at 1680x1050 but I would't use any AA. Lower shadows also.

Likewise, I find FS-X a snorefest..

Brilliant game, much better than C&C "arcade" tripe. I haven't played SC/FA with the 8800GT, but I have a similar base system and it slowed down a fair bit (FA) Should be ok at 1680x1050 but I would't use any AA. Lower shadows also.

Likewise, I find FS-X a snorefest..

Got the SC:FA game run at maxed, no AA and low shadows. Can't tell the dif with AA on anyways. The only time a get stutters is when I am in a Skirmish with 8 AI teams.

I grew quite fond of strategy games for awhile. I still like them, heck I still have the old ones from Windows 95. FPS for me at the moment. 8-)
