Halo's stupid

Postby Mazza » Fri Nov 23, 2007 10:46 pm

I'm so annoyed.... I download the trial halo and it says this after starting up:
Sorry your video hardware is not big enough(or something like that)

It also says that my vid card is my built-in one when i have a ATI 9200 going bring it up to 126Mb when halo needs 32Mb.

Someone please HELP ME!!! :'(

Some games don't support some video cards...It's not Halo being stupid...You just need a Hardware upgrade ;)

Don't scare me like that! Saying Halo is stupid is a very dangerous thing to do!

Which Halo are you talking about? Are you talking about the 1st Halo? If so, than there is a good chance that your computer may be too advanced. Yes, that's right. I have owned games recently that were deemed too primitive by my computer. ::)

if you go to http://gameadvisor.futuremark.com

you can run a scanner to see how capable you are of playing games and what you might need to upgrade, and to what.

What driver version are you using? Which version of DX do you have? Whats your entire system specs. My guess on this is one of a few things. 1st, you just need a driver update because you haven't done one since you bought the card, which would mean you are about 6 years behind in driver updates, not a good thing to do. If this doesn't fix the problem (when 99.9% of the time it does) make sure you have DX9c installed (you can get this directly from MS) After all this do a defrag of your system, and if you are still having problems then its hailo's fault and you may just need to buy the game and patch it.
