Call of duty 4 solveeeeeeeeeeee

i had recently installed call of duty 4...but there is a problem when i click on single player icon it automatically quits before running at all but multiplayer is running fine. for single player the error appears win_improper_quit_body. so whats the solution.
amd athlon 64 3000+
gefore 6600 256mb
1 gb ddr ram
160 gb harddisk
windows xp
