Postby Triple_7 » Tue Aug 21, 2007 10:09 pm

Ok...Everyone who is tired of those annoying pop-ups that are asking for administrator permission heres how to get rid of them.  Direct from Microsoft.

1. Please click Start->Control Panel.
2. In the left pane click Classic View. In the right pane double-click User Accounts.
3. Click on the option Turn User Account Control on or off.
4. Please uncheck the option "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer".
5. Click OK to quit.

No more annoying pop-ups ;D

Any other little fixes you want let me know soon while I still have this guy wrapped around my finger ;)

I love you.

Those damned popups seemed to serve no purpose whatsoever, other than to annoy the more security aware windows users. I'm just glad its only my laptop, It'd be too much otherwise.

Thanks Triple_7. Trying to use Vista on my friend's new PC has been driving me mad. These tips will come in very useful.
