Ebay filtering

Postby expat » Thu Aug 02, 2007 6:23 am

Does anyone know if it is possible to set Fire Fox or Internet explorer to filter out ebay hits. For example when looking for a product, the first three pages or more always seem to be sites that link what ever you are looking for to ebay even if said product cannot be found their. It is becoming very annoying, not everything in this world needs to come from ebay >:(

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Do you mean in google searches?

If so, theres a way to do that. Go to "Advanced search", and theres an option to not show results from a domain name. Click on the dropdown box next to "[only] return results from the site or domain" and select "Dont", then type http://ebay.co.uk in the text area to the right.

Thanks for that, and the remote access question too :)
