Conflict: Train sim and FS9

Postby cavity » Sun Oct 30, 2005 1:30 pm

During my attempts to rid my system of crashes, I uninstalled all of the other games on my computer including MS train sim and Sim city 4.  While continuing my search for problems, I went into the add/remove programs.  I noticed that the train sim is still there but with a Flight sim airplane emblem.  When I click to delete it, it asks if I want to unintall flight simulator.  Any idea what is going on? Are there common files shared between these programs?  I had them installed on different drives, but perhaps this is the root cause of some of the problems I have.  Todd

Jim (Webb) put me onto Easy Cleaner (free) which will get rid of any embedded stuff (such as problems in the registry).

That should sort out any conflicts ;)
