Bad Video Playback

Postby atotti2000 » Wed Aug 10, 2005 7:55 pm

Hi all,  8)
Ive been having lots of troule recently with movie files (various) when watching them on my PC. ::)

They appear very bright in contrast to normal videos so much that its sometimes difficult to view...
Some files are fine but it has been about 90% recently which go this strange white brightness.

I have tried multiple players and have the newest version of the players...so what am I missing. Unless its a windows thing but im update don that too.

oh Dear  ???

Do you have an NVidia card with the latest drivers?  If so, that's the problem.  For some reason I would get very strange playback with streaming video and certain filetypes.

Go to your NVidia control panel, and under Color Correction, make sure "Apply color changes to:" is set to "All".

If this isn't your problem, then, umm...  Whoops?

Lucky b@$t@rd... >:(

But yeah, I had the same problem with my FX5500 and the new drivers.  The hardware video overlay was WAY off, but I managed to get it back to normal!
