well i have had it since day 1 on ps2 and completed it a while back. If your out of city 1 already your cheating or spend 24/7 on the game ;) :) I prefer vice city. Better story lines and the size was much better. Driving between them for missions gets tedious quickly. The game is good though in the end. Once out of los santos i rarely returned. Just to completely wipe out the other gangs.

The fun starts when you get you license after having completed the flying school. There's an astonishing variety of aircraft, from a P-51 to a 737!

But as for my favourite vehicle, nothing beats the mountain bike. ;D

Cool so you can fly the 737 yourself ??.. I thought it was just AI traffic. I allready spotted the P-51 but it was locked when I tried to enter.. so I probabely have to wait until i finished flying school. So far I just flew the Cessna the Learjet
and the biplane.
Is it also possible to fly that military
jet ? think it

Its a harrier, and yes you can. There are tons of aircraft.
A seahawk coast guard helicopter.
A sea king which floats on water.
P51
DC3
Cessna
learjet
737
stuntplane
Apache
the standard helicopters
float plane
float sparrow
Harrier
crop duster
and a jet pack.
You need all gold from the flight school for some of those.

stuntplane

Pitts S-2.

You need all gold from the flight school for some of those.

For the Apache, but you can also get that one without having gold.

I really wanted to love this game, but I picked it up for PS2 at the same time as I purchased MGS:3 SnakeEater.

Vice City was the styling master of the GTA series.  Tommy rocked, and the 80s theme was great.

But SA is just so damned BIG!  The bikes, the planes, the customization, and three huge cities to get lost in... It's a riot!  Some of the missions made me curse my ears off, but now that I've beaten the storyline, it's fun to just cruise around in my lowrider listenin' to music.  Wanna REALLY get lost?  Head out to the forest areas and turn the map off.  See how long it takes to get back to Los Santos! :P

And I thought that plane more closely resembled a Spit.  Ah well, I'll check it out again later.  And I'm gonna make a DC-3 repaint for FS'04 resembling the DC-3 in GTA (Suank Air, or w/e it was called).
