Removing it I guess nLite will do that. I rember on my old system I didint have it disabled no probs then 1 day adds from hell. I think it is disabled by default now. M$ makes te best spyware program couple it with Norton and Adaware I have had ZERO problems.

Areyou talking about actually removing the windows msn messenger? Or the network messenger that can be REALLY annoying until disabled?

The messenger that is not the "instant messenger" chat program, which can be removed.
The messenger as it is called in the services listing can not, as stated it is part of the OS and can be disabled.
