Trasparent backgroung GIF's and PSP?

hi guys, i was wondering if any of u could tell me how to create images with transparent backgrounds?

im using PSP7

I've done it but it's been a while. It might depend on the version of PSP. In PSP7 click File/Save As & select the GIF format. Then click the Options button & run the Optimizer. You can set the colour you wish to be transparent & other options like the tolerance before saving the image. I think it will only show up as transparent on a webpage or this forum.
