Boo!  CD Cracks!

Postby Scorpiоn » Thu Nov 25, 2004 1:41 am

I just finished re-formatting and partitioning my 250 gig today, and likewise installed my bunch o' games too, but like most people, I don't want to switch the disk every 20 minutes.  However!  I don't want to go to these warez sites, because I feel like a crook.  I remember awhile ago in the CFS3 forum, there was talk about the no CD patches fo CFS3 and FS2004, and how with some utility, you could just edit the .exe to not require the CD.  Does anybody know of anything like this?

The no-cd for FS9 is on the first page of "utilities" (?)

You can edit the .exe with a hex editor ;)
I did that for CSF1 somewhere you can find a tute that explains how to do it.

Ah!  Hex Editor!  That's what I was thinking of.  Thanks!
