I don't think IE can resume downloads, you would need a download managment program or something along that line.

You are an F-15. Your record in combat is spotless; you've never been defeated. You possess good looks, but are not flashy about it. You prefer to let your reputation do the talking

Hi Dan...!
My downloads automatically default to my Go!Zilla v3.9 downloader.
If I get cut-off after 2 hours I merely have to click on the "partial" download, (in the list), and it will resume from where it left off...!

Cheers Dan...!

Paul.

Note, it's downloading already... ;)...!

Well, what do you make of this then...?
As a result of this thread I have just up-dated my n-Vidia drivers from 56.64 to 61.76, (Win '98SE for Ge-Force 4 Ti 4200), and guess what happened... ::)...?

The dreaded blue screen of death with the report "FATAL ERROR"...just the sort of thing you need after walking a load of cat crap from the front lawn onto the living room carpet... >:(...!

All the graphics would revert to 640 X 480, 16 bit colour, after each re-boot... :'(...!
This would constantly happen until I re-installed my original 56.64 drivers.... ;D...!

All is fine again, as though nothing nasty really happened, and it was all a very bad dream, (but the cat crap is still in the carpet)...!

LOL...LOL...LOL...!

I find this quite surprising as I am always cautious to avoid "beta", (un-tested), versions, and the later drivers were WHQL certified for my system... ;)...!

At the moment I find the numbers "56.64" very exciting indeed, and I think I will keep them for a while... 8)...!
LOL...!

Cheers all... ;D...!

Paul.

Interestingly, the graphics quality and final score in 3D Mark 2001SE was very much worse with the later drivers installed... ::)...!

Still using IE? Get Firefox like L1011 said. It's much more user friendly than IE plus its a bit faster too. You can get it from Mozilla.org. You can even order it on CD if your connection is too slow.
