Alright,Paz ,what about a mini-review by me? ;)

Graphics:
Really great! Detailed trains ,nice landscapes ,water and weather effects, but a hog on the framerates with maximum details.

Sound:
Typical country music and other sounds, which create a suitable atmosphere.

Gameplay:
Overall,it's just like RRT2,but slightly easier and not that deep. it has many optional automatic functions (you let the computer decide ,which goods are to be transported). Another minus is the size of the maps (i missed the "entire USA" or "entire europe" maps) and the number of locomotives avaiable (not as many as in RRT2). Financial options are the same as in RRT2 (stock market,etc...)

Overall,i'd say it successfully transports the old "railroad tycoon feeling" into the 3rd dimension ,but without being as good as part 2 had been at it's time.

Hope this could help ya a bit.

P.s: Haven't found any bugs or glitches yet...

No, my fiance' has a hard time knowing what to get for me, I am always coming home with new games so she has no idea what I already have or what I would like to check out, so when Best Buy put RRT3 on sale this past week, I picked it up and told her this was what she got me, of course it is wrapped and under the tree so I can't check it out until I open it on Christmas, and then I am required to act real surprised like I didn't know that's what I was getting, sounds kinda funny but it's fun and works out good for us.
She is easy to buy for, I am not according to her.

Me and the wife do the same thing Paz. We are both hard to buy for. It is kinda weird knowing everything you are gonna get for christmas, but at least you know your gonna like it  ;D.

I've got RT3, GREAT! I love it!

Its certainly challenging, definately an all nighter!!!  ::)

Be careful with the graphics settings, I've had major FPS issues with the wrong settings (enable "show fps" in the options & keep an eye on it!)
I can get an average 45fps now which is fine and playable, despite anti alaising being on - seems to sort out some minor issues - 32Bit colour seems much smoother than 16bit also.

Close down as many apps as you can before you play, this has proved to be critical with my machine anyway.

Trouble is, I got Call of Duty for Christmas, RT3 I've had for a few months.... For Christmas anyway, my railroad's closed!

I also got Rise of Nations, which has taken priority over RRT3, so as of right now, all I have done is install RRT3, I have all next week off though, so I am going to try and mess with it a little before going back to work on the 5th.

I played around with RON a bit yesterday and figure I will probably be into that for a little while.
