modern combat anyone?

not sure anyone feels the same but microsoft should create a  modern combat simulator..would be imense fun with f22's and sr71's instead of corsairs and  b25's

not saying ww2 aircraft are in anyway not worthy of a decent simulator but microsoft should bring out a modern combat sim aswell. im sure this is running though other minds aswell maybe we should all get a 100,000 signatures and send it to microsoft :D your thoughts on a post card below please....... :D

One of the problems with jet combat is range of the manuvering envelope.
A sim difficulty is in tracking the bogey visually.  Extend the envelope to 1 mile or more and it becomes much more difficult given limited sim visibility.
The CFS2 F86/MIG addon is an example and these were relatively low performance fighters.
Also difficult to accurately duplicate AIM9/AIM7 weapons envelopes.
