download problem

download problem

hey guys:)
when i clicked on a download i hit the always ask tick box in the first window that pops up, now it doesnt come up at all, and i cant remember how to get that window back up, can anyone help.

 What OS and browser are you using? Seems like there would be an option somewhere in the control panel for this.
Still no linked images allowed around here Paz! Naughty...

i have had a look in the internet options but cant find anything there

 I don't know if this will help, but if you click on "tools" at the top of the screen in IE, there is an option to 'reset web settings', it may be worth a try.

 Okay, here's what you need to do:

 Open your control panel
 Click Folder Options.
 Open the File Types tab, scroll down and click the appropriate file type in the Registered File Types box. (such as .zip, or whatever file type you were downloading at the time)
 Click advanced.
 Select the Confirm Open After Download check box.
 Click OK and see if that works.
