Hey John, I have not checked up on your simpit threads (or Simviation as a whole!) in years. Glad to see it has been continuing on and that it has turned out to look so nice.
Cheers!

Mike,

Unfortunately life has gotten in the way of any recent progress.

Work will resume.... just not sure when yet.

Hi everyone.

A lot of the photo links got screwed up in one of the numerous glitches on the OLD forum...and did not carry over to the new forums at all.

It looks like all of the images (pointing to the old archived forum) from the posting listed as number 29 and on are intact. Prior to thjat they all seem to be completely gone....... not just missing images.... but the code that points to them is also gone. Huge project to rebuild that!!!!!!

I'm flat out with "Life 1.0" and it will take me a good while to try to find all the old images and get them working again.

Sorry about the deterioration of this thread and the postings it links to.

best,

...............john

Hi John,

Ironically when I saw the top link what came to my thought was "Yay, John continued his project." Sadly it was not that way.I am very sorry to learn this. Hope you will find them somehow or may be form your back up archives at home. Your project inspired many of us and I personally has referred to it as my "encyclopedia" to home brewed cockpit. I comeback time in time again as references. I feel for you and hopefully there will be a way to recover it. We owe you a lot.

Sincerely,
Ermias Zemichael

Hi John and everyone else,
thought I'd drop in a short note here to say that although I haven't worked on the 'sim' for quite some time I have been
making some progress. After next Wed. when they lay the carpet in my new studio (man cave) I've built behind the garage,
I'll be able to start moving in the sim to give it a dedicated home where I can set it up and resume pottering away.
It's a 2.4m x 3.6m properly lined room with power, lights, phone and internet all connected. Just the carpet and a garden path to get to it still to go.
Can't wait.
cheers all
Craig (still out here, still afflicted) :D
