I fly fs2004 with a LOT of payware and freeware additions. It makes it VERY close to FSX visually.... without all the touchy performance issues. AES is one of THE best additions for fs2004. It brings airports in FS2004 alive. Read all the stuff it ads in the link below. It works with FSX also.... but I can't speak to that.

One of the effects it adds is that when the nosewheel is running on the centerline of the runway, the centeriline lights can be felt as "thumps". With the transducers in the serat... you KNOW that you are running over those lights. Other "roughness" that the designers put into airport surfaces can also sometimes be felt. Adds a LOT of realism.
