making the circuit panel body
cutting out the main parts

first attempt I tried metal fittings but wasn't getting the result I wanted

there will be lots more to this as none of it is even made up for wiring yet - I hope to connect it all as a keyboard replacement - well thats the idea anyway.

Towerguy,

I can imagine how this is going to turn out at the end, of course if there is an end to cockpit building. Your work looks neat and it has a feel of professional touch. All your recent four posts revel that.

Talking of scavenging isn't that how we combat money. I have used two unexpected things when I made my over head panel. A white plastic cutting board and an old vinyl record whose songs I didn't care for.

yes I have been eyeing up the plastic cutting boards in the local $2 shop, possibly to use when I redo the undercarriage workings ... but I hadn't thought about the big box of old vinyl records under the stairs!
