cutting out the main parts

first attempt I tried metal fittings but wasn't getting the result I wanted

so it was back to wood

all drilled out and round filed from the inside out

a test fitting

first bit of paint
gradually coming together
a couple of shots of the first build
undercoating
top coating
installed - lower left of photo
there will be lots more to this as none of it is even made up for wiring yet - I hope to connect it all as a keyboard replacement - well thats the idea anyway.
cheers till next time
