some updates
this was work tidying up around the door frames. trying to get the right curves in place. I have been lucky in that recently a Baron has been operating into Auckland Airport

Craig,
From that last picture I'd swear that you were actually building a real aircraft! Why don't you just keep going "all the way"? ;)
best,

problem!
theres so many screws and so much bog that I'd have to have the first PT6 powered baron to get it to move off the ramp!

(spelling change)

"bog"? Your neck of the woods for filler putty? Or Bondo?

yeah
has the main creamy part in a can and then the red hardener in a small bottle
you mix and slap in place before it hardens - the more hardener you put in the faster it sets
then just sand down
"bog" is just the slang for anything of this type
i.e. 'bog it up'

Looking good... but if you're planning on locating it anywhere else, you might want to move it now... probably getting quite heavy.

I was sort-of clever when I built mine on a steel dolly with casters... but I forgot it won't fit out the door of my room...

:D
Seriously, though, having it on wheels makes it much easier to deal with throughout the project.

it won't be a problem moving it
I have two sons - aged 17 and 19 and both about 6ft tall and strong - who needs wheels!!!

besides I have nowhere to move it too!

All I can say, you got skills... I maybe sometime I will do this, but yours looks almost too real for a sim. Very nice.
