Dear god!!! i think i wet myself  :o :o :o (no, not really... but still :o )  ;D

it's funny this article talks more about the features of FS than the pit itself... and they speak of multiplayer as if it were something unheard of ::)

that aside... this pit is amazing!! words fail me... so here are more smileys:
:o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

Cheers

Cars can be seen on the road when he comes in to land and people wave at him from the terminals.

Been flying FS since 1995 but never, ever saw someone wave at me. Maybe that comes with a $300,000 simpit too?

Crash ;)

I would imagine the people waving from the terminals is some sort of FSX addon? (I'm assuming FSX due to the mention of moving cars)

But yes, that is indeed VERY awesome. I'd like to see some details on the 60 million dollar ones they mention in the article.

Not on the "Realism / Dollars" scale.   ;)

There are a lot of guys with REALLY sophisticated exact replica pits.   I am not in their league.   And when you go that route......... the dollars just keep evaporating.

best,

yeah, i'm a generic flier myself too... and i couldn't commit to one single aircraft so much as to build a replica cockpit...

that thing would suck to fly a helicopter  ;)

it does it's purpose, and awesomely at that... but it's not for me... although i would really like going for a ride on it

Cheers

I hope I dont break to many rules by posting a link to another site, but http://www.flightsim.com/main/feature/question.htm  I just read this article and it's something we all can relate to..... 8-)
there is also lots of footage on youtube of various pits, some pro stuff....and some not so pro stuff  ;)

Does anyone from here at the Simv homebuilt cockpit area, have any footage of their own simpits on Youtube.....if so, please share. :)

That was a very cool story. I'd really like to fly one of those ultra realistic simulators like that!
